NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, in Courtroom 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

4:00 P.M. - FILE SS1350-06 - NORTHSPRINGS - PRELIMINARY PLAT - DAN JACOBSON & ALLISON GILMORE are proposing to subdivide a 17.19-acre parcel into three lots ranging from 2.5 acres to 12.19 acres. The subject property is zoned Suburban, and is located off Lakeshore Drive approximately 7 miles southwest of Sandpoint in Section 6, Township 56 North, Range 2 West.

4:15 P.M. - FILE SS1312-05 - ROCKY ACRES II - PRELIMINARY PLAT - ROCKY & RITA JORDAN are seeking to subdivide a +/-23 acre parcel into four lots between +/-8 and +/-5 acres. The subject property is zoned Rural and is accessed by Homestead Loop Road, in Section 23, Township 57 North, Range 3 West, B.M., 4.5 miles west of Dover.

4:30 P.M. - FILE SS1307-05 - WELLS COZY ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - DONALD & NINA WELLS are seeking approval to subdivide a 21.4-acre parcel into three residential lots ranging from 5.37 to 10.66 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located on Blanchard Cutoff Road, approximately .4 miles east of Blanchard, in Section 21, Township 54 North, Range 5 West, B.M.

4:45 P.M. - FILE C836-05 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A SMALL-SCALE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND FILE S1283-05 - CANYON CREEK RANCH - PRELIMINARY PLAT - FRED MARTIN, ET AL are seeking approval for a planned unit development (C836-05) and a preliminary plat (S1283-05) to subdivide a +/-176-acre tract into 35 lots, between +/-2.55 and +/-8.01 acres in size, and common area. The site is zoned Rural, and is located off of Sagle Road, +/-5 miles southeast of the City of Sandpoint, in Section 19, Township 56 North, Range 1 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of May 18th recommended approval of these applications to the Board of County Commissioners.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT COURTROOM 4 IS NOT AVAILABLE, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
