NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Sandpoint City Council will hold public hearings at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID, to consider the following:

A06-01 and ZC06-01 - A request by Victor and Sandra Colvard for zoning in conjunction with annexation of an approximately 6.92_acre parcel lying east of North Boyer Avenue north of its intersection with Schweitzer Cutoff Road, and south of Little Sand Creek. The property is described as the North 1 / 2 of the North 1 / 2 of the SW 1 / 4 of the SE 1 / 4, of Section 3, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M., less the platted portion of the Vedelwood subdivision. The Applicants request an initial zoning designation of Residence "A" for the property. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of this application.

S06-07/PUD06-04 (Brandywine Estates) - A request by Kelly Kearns for planned unit development and preliminary subdivision approval to develop 16 lots on approximately 3.5 acres in the Residence "A" zone. The property is located on the east side of Boyer Avenue east of Moe's Acres, north of Cottonwood Glenn, and south of the Spring Creek development. The site is described as a portion of the SW 1 / 4 of the NE 1 / 4 of Section 10, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The Planning Commission recommended approval of this application.

A06-02 - The City of Sandpoint has initiated annexation of approximately 2.33 acres commonly known as the Northwood Meadows subdivision under the provisions of Idaho Code 50-222 as an area bounded on all sides by lands within the City, and where consent to annexation has been implied through connection to a water system operated by the City. The four-lot subdivision is located on the east side of North Boyer Avenue, north of its intersection with Schweitzer Cutoff Road, and described as Lots 1-4, Northwood Meadows, in the South 1 / 2 of the SW 1/ 4 of the SE 1 / 4, of Section 3, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The City proposes a zoning designation of Residence "A" for the property. The City's Comprehensive Plan designation for the site is Rural. The Planning Commission has recommended a zoning designation of Residence "A" if the property is annexed.
