NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
ON A PERMIT APPLICATION WITH THE OPTION TO REQUEST A PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON THE PROPOSED PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT
SUBJECT: Application No. P-060102 for a permit to construct an air pollution-emitting source and proposed action: Lignetics of Idaho, Inc., Sandpoint that processes sawdust and shavings from lumber mills into wood pellets and formed logs, is applying for a permit to construct to burn wood waste for fuel in a proposed wood-waste burner used to dry the sawdust and shavings.
propose: The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has scheduled a period to receive public comments on the air quality aspects of the project application. The DEQ is also soliciting requests to hold a 30-day public comment period on the proposed permit when it is drafted.
authority: In compliance with Section 58.01.01.209, Rules for the COntrol of Air POllution in Idaho, notice is hereby given that Lignetics of Idaho, Inc., Sandpoint, Idaho has applied to DEQ for a permit to construct an air pollution source located at UTM coordinates (km) 536.4, 5351.3. Idaho.
public comment period: Pursuant to Section 58.01.01.20, a public comment period on the proposed permit may be provided if written requests are submitted to the undersigned on or before April 3, 2006. Please note that a proposed permit has not been developed at this time. It is the application that is available for review. A proposed permit will be made available for review during the 30-day public comment period if one is requested.
