REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL for PROFESSIONAL

SERVICES

Bonner County is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for a Project Manager to provide management of Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Fire Mitigation activities under the BONFire Hazardous Fuels Treatment program in Bonner County.

Proposals should be addressed to Bonner County Department of Emergency Management, c/o Bob Howard and must be received by 5:00 p.m., Friday,

March 10, 2006 at:

4001 N Boyer Ave, Bldg 3, Sandpoint, ID 83864.

The project will include, but is not limited to: Fuels reduction activities in accordance with the grant requirements and program regulations; also program promotion and public education.

Contractor will comply with all regulations that are applicable to the following funding agencies: Idaho Panhandle National Forest (U.S.F.S.), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), and Bonner County.

The Project Manager will comply with all local, state and federal fire laws and the Idaho Forest Practices Act.
