? Area players named to all-star teams

MULLAN — The annual District 1 boys and girls high school all-star games are scheduled for Friday at the Pavilion.

The girls game is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by the boys game around 7:45.

The East teams are seniors made up from players from Priest River, Lakeside, Clark Fork, Timberlake, Sandpoint and Post Falls Christian. The West consists of players from Kellogg, Mullan, Post Falls, Bonners Ferry, Wallace and Lakeland.

There will be a 3-point contest at halftime of each game, with a slam-dunk competition taking place also at the half of the boys game.

A $100 scholarship will be awarded to the MVP of each game.
