NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:
1:30 P.M. - FILE ZC319-05 - ZONE CHANGE REQUEST: SUBURBAN-1/3 TO RURAL - JOHN PETTIS, ET AL are seeking to rezone two parcels totaling +/-21 acres from Suburban 1/3 (site area minimums ranging from 12,000 square feet to 2.5 acres) to Rural (site area minimums of 5 acres) to accommodate future homesite development on a private easement. The site is located off Lakeshore Drive, +/-11.5 miles southwest of Sandpoint in Section 16, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its public hearing of March 2nd, recommended approval of this zone change request to the Board of County Commissioners.
1:45 P.M. - FILE SS1297-05 - MUSKRAT LAKE, REPLAT OF LOT 12 - PRELIMINARY PLAT - EDDY & KRISTI KNOTTS are proposing to subdivide existing Lot 12 of Muskrat Lake Subdivision (17.78 acres) into three lots of 5.23 acres to 7.32 acres. The subject property is zoned Rural, and is located off Muskrat Road +/-10 miles southwest of Sandpoint in Section 35, Township 57 North, Range 3 West.
2:00 P.M. - FILE SS1285-05 - MILLER SUBDIVISION - PRELIMINARY PLAT - DION MILLER is proposing to subdivide a 20.02-acre parcel into four lots of 5 acres each. The subject property is zoned Rural, and is located on Torrens Lane +/-7 miles north of Spirit Lake in Section 9 of Township 54 North, Range 4 West.
2:15 P.M. - FILE SS1219-05 - COWIN HEIGHTS - PRELIMINARY PLAT - DAVE & KELLI COWIN are seeking approval to subdivide a 20-acre parcel into four 5-acre residential lots. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Elmira Road & Dancing Road, +/-13 miles northeast of the City of Ponderay, in Section 10, Township 59 North, Range 1 West, B.M.
2:30 P.M. - FILE SS1222-05 - HOLDERMAN ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - KORY HOLDERMAN is seeking approval to subdivide a 10.76-acre parcel into 2 residential lots of 5.22 and 5.54 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located on Spring Creek Road, +/-3 miles northwest of the City of Clark Fork, in Section 27, Township 56 North, Range 2 East, B.M.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
