The public was right about real estate office locations

I was acting with mixed emotions when I moved our real estate business out of the downtown area. We occupied the space in Gunnings Alley for 10-plus years as Ostrum & Associates and then as Windermere.

The letters written by many concerned citizens over the years about better locations for real estate offices is proving to be true. Our new location off U.S. Highway 2 is proving to be the best thing to happen. We have parking, more space and excellent client acceptance.

The drop-ins and casual lookers are still stopping and the brochure racks seem to empty twice as fast. In fact, we are expanding both in agents and the amount of business we are handling, thanks only to the downtown congestion and convenience. Stop by our office and say, 'Hi.' We all should listen when the public speaks about the problems and issues and not wait for the government to protect us.
