Bush wasn't prepared to engage in Iraq war
In Spain when a man enters the bull ring to face an angry bull, it might seem like a great act of courage.
But not if one is blindfolded, which then becomes an act of absolute folly, committed by our president.
To enter another country with no knowledge of its language, mores, customs and nuances of language leaves one helpless to communicate or interpret even gestures, as in the country we express.
The result is utter confusion as we are experiencing now.
A man's character is revealed by his capacity of admitting error, and we will admire him for this. But to deny facts because of mindless vanity is unforgivable — the stakes are too high, and the people in our country are made to suffer because of this stubborn ego.
Language should have been the first priority before stepping foot into another country to engage in a war.
I don't know whether Bush, as a youth was a Boy Scout, but if not he could have learned and profited by their motto: "Be prepared."
