Jacquelyn Jean 'Jackie' Givens, 66

Jacquelyn Jean "Jackie" Givens, 66, passed away near Sandpoint on Sunday, March 19, 2006.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Jackie was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on April 27, 1939, the daughter of Jack and Edith Stelle.

She graduated from Chaffey High School and then attended Riverside City College.

On June 17, 1956, she married Jack Givens Jr., in Pasadena, Calif. She lived in the San Francisco area from 1978 until 1994.

Jackie moved to Sandpoint in 1994.

She enjoyed being a mother, a grandmother, cooking for her family and taking care of them.

She is survived by two sons, John and Mike Givens, both of Sandpoint; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jill Dixon of Las Vegas, Nev.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
