Bulldog girls split with Lakeland

RATHDRUM — Abby Cederblom had five hits in the first game for the Hawks, but Lakeland managed just two runs on 10 hits in the nightcap.

"Sandpoint pulled it together (in the second game)," Lakeland coach Colleen Nave said. "We just weren't playing our A game that second game."

Kyra Crabb threw a complete game in holding the Hawks to just two runs, and Akela Marley added a double as Sandpoint recorded their first win of the young season.
