Bernard Vincent 'Bernie' Fee, 77

Bernard Vincent "Bernie" Fee, 77, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private services have been held. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Calverton National Cemetery in New York.

Bernie was born on March 12, 1929, the son of Andrew and Susan (McKenna) Fee. He grew up in New York and graduated from high school.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Europe for 20 years and retired to Shreveport, La., where he attended college and later worked for the Veterans Hospital. His civil service spanned 15 years as a recreational therapist for the Veterans Administration.

Bernie moved to Idaho in 2000 and settled in Clark Fork with his loving companion, Catherine Crain.

Bernie enjoyed working on his computer.

Survivors include his loving companion, Catherine Crain; his sons, Patrick Fee and Michael Fee; and a daughter, Karen Stanley. Bernie's grandchildren, a brother and three sisters also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
