The things you learn about yourself during a decade

| March 29, 2006 8:00 PM

My 10th anniversary as a print journalist in Bonner County is approaching. Over the decade, I have learned that I am apparently all of the following:

A half-wit, a complete moron, an agent of the government, an agent of malcontents, a muckraker, a bribe-taker, a wrecker of political aspirations and unpopular tax proposals, a shameless booster of political hopefuls and unpopular tax proposals, a pawn, a thoughtless destroyer of reputations, an agitator, a coddler, a heartless jerk, a sensationalist, a fabulist, a Communist, a left-wing zealot, a right-wing wacko and a corporate stooge.

Some people have even told me I'm a decent writer and a fair reporter who can actually spell.

It's amazing what you learn about yourself over the course of 10 years.
