Collie Arnone, 73

Collie Arnone, 73, of Lewiston, Idaho, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2006, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.

Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes.

Collie was born Dec. 26, 1932, the daughter of Walter L. Brown Jr. and Barbara G. Rom-Brown in Sandpoint.

After graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1950, Collie moved to Lewiston to attend North Idaho College of Education. She met her future husband, Louie, shortly thereafter and they were married about a year later on Aug. 1, 1951.

Collie was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She resided at the 431 Linden Drive residence for the past 45 years.

Collie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for 52 years. She was an avid bowler for 35 years, participating in numerous out-of-town tournaments. She also was a sports fan who consistently followed Lewis-Clark State College baseball and Gonzaga University basketball.

She is survived by her husband, Louie J. Arnone at their Lewsiton home; daughter, Tana L. Peterson of Puyallup, Wash.; sons Gary L. Arnone of Brookfield, Conn., and Lance R. Arnone of Seattle, Wash.; sister Barbara Rosenboom of Port Angeles, Wash.; her granddaughters Lindsey, Caitlin and Alexis; and grandsons Michael, David, Anthony, Alec and Gregory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Barbara Brown; a brother, Walter (Sonny) Brown; and a sister, Betty Sullivan.
