Evenson, Hayman claims golf honors

BIG CREEK — Wallace juniors Dayne Evenson and Cara Hayman claimed medalist honors during Tuesday's 1A-2A District Match at Shoshone Golf Club in Big Creek, carding an 83 and 90 respectively.

Zach Palmer led the Wampus Cat boys with a 94, and Megan Hess led the girls team with a 115. Neither golfer was able to qualify for state.
