Marie Evelyn Fredlund, 79

Marie Evelyn Fredlund, 79, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2006, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

At her request, private family services will be held.

Marie was born on August 25, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Mary Joralemon in Denver, Colo. She grew up, attended schools, and graduated high school in Wheat Ridge, Colo.

She attended USC for two years and during that time received her pilot license. Her passion was gliders.

Marie was married and started a family in Long Beach, Calif,, but soon moved to South Lake Tahoe where she raised her family. She worked in real estate and photography. Marie moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1984, where she worked as a travel agent.

Marie was a lifelong member of the Christian Science Church, was a member of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce and enjoyed volunteering at the Festival at Sandpoint.

Marie loved her family; enjoyed gardening, photography, traveling, reading mysteries, and inspirational writing. She will be greatly missed.

She applied her spiritual knowledge and values to everyday life. She lived and acted in the spirit of love.

She is survived by her two sons, Bob (Sharon) Fredlund of Carson City, Nev., and Richard Fredlund of Hilo, Hawaii; a daughter, Vicki (Paul) Walsh of Sandpoint; two grandsons, Chris (Rindi) Fredlund of Carson City and Dustin Walsh of Sandpoint; and soon to be great grandson Aiden Fredlund. She is also survived by a sister, Frances Hale of Clayton, Calif.
