Phillips is a builder who has a proven track record

To build or destroy, that is the question.

The last time in office, Bud Mueller destroyed the building department and fired employees he deemed unnecessary and cost the taxpayers over $270,000 in back pay, lawsuits and increased insurance premiums.

Now he wants to destroy the EMS system, saying he'll have a private operator do it for nothing. Ridiculous. Big Sky could not do it nor could any of the companies who submitted proposals to service the county when Big Sky suddenly pulled out.

In contrast, we have Marcia Phillips who is a builder. Under her leadership, the 911 dispatch operation was upgraded to a state-of-the-art center. A county-wide 24-7 EMS service also was formed. More money is budgeted for road and bridge improvement using less tax dollars than when Mueller was commissioner.

Do we want a destroyer again or do we want to re-elect a builder with a proven track record. Vote smart on May 23.
