Voters can prove pen is mightier than sword

| May 17, 2006 9:00 PM

Vote May 23.

It is the time that all Bonner County Citizens must go to the polls and vote. With the issues of the past year and for next year it is an obligation of us all to vote. Your vote does count. The more votes cast will cause those elected to do their job, "hold their feet to the fire."

You, the voters in East Bonner County have already stated "enough is enough" earlier this spring. You know what the issues are. Those that concern you must be the issues of your elected representatives in the county and state.

If you have a neighbor who cannot get to the polls, give them a ride.

With a large turnout the rest of Idaho elected officials will hear us and take heed. Maybe, it will catch on throughout the state of Idaho.

This obligation/duty to vote has been defended by all veterans since the Revolutionary War up and including today.

Please vote one and all. The pen is mightier than the sword.
