Jessica Danielle Reed, 18

Jessica Danielle Reed of Dover passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Kent General Hospital. She was 18.

Jessica was born July 2, 1987, at the Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga., to Douglas J. Reed and Donna Lee Milich Reed.

Jessica graduated from Dover High School and was attending Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa., majoring in neuroscience.

She planned to enter medical school focusing on orthopedic surgery or pathology. Jessica began volunteering her time at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Her favorite life long hobby was bowling surrounded by friends of all ages. Her fondness lied with the sheer honesty of young children and older adults.

Jessica was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Dover.

Jessica is survived by her parents, Doug and Donna Reed of Dover; her brother, Adam Reed of Wilmington, Del.; her grandmother, Patricia Milich of Cheney, Wash.; a great aunt and uncle, Jim and Frances Reed of Sagle, Idaho; aunts and uncles, Keith Reed and his wife Rebecca of Kootenai, Idaho., Sam Reed of Sagle, Mike and his wife Lynnae Reed of Sandpoint, Idaho., Dale and his wife Diane Milich of Spokane, Wash., Diana Bren of Strandburg, S.D., Carl and his wife Kelly Milich of Spokane, Carol Milich and her companion Ben Sanenz of Rogers Alaska, Keith and his wife Karen Milich of Spokane, Wash, Kurt and his wife Kari of Spokane, and a host of cousins.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday May 24, 2006, at the Presbyterian Church of Dover, 54 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Friends may call one hour prior. Please wear typical attire in memory of her.
