Talk provided insight, help for anti-gang work

I want to thank The Daily Bee for its wonderful publicity on the recent visit by the Rev. Greg Boyle, Sergio and Erin from the Boyle Heights district in East Los Angeles. Their presentations around gang life were both sobering and inspiring. It confirmed my belief that if youth have meaning and hope in life, they will take themselves off the streets. Our churches raised more than $5,200 for their work in Los Angeles.
