Let's remove signs as soon as possible

Now that the election is over maybe the politicos and sponsors of other issues will remove all of those ugly signs plastered everywhere you look or are we going to have those swell looking signs up for another month or so? Does anyone ever read those signs? The only one I ever read is held by someone in front of the courthouse criticizing a detective. What does that mean? Who is this guy and who, pray tell, is that detective and why is he so bad? If all of our local business owners decided to put up small ugly paper signs about their businesses all over town, I wonder how long it would be before our city officials would start issuing citations along with substantial fines for off premises signs?
