'None of the above' is the best choice
I am about to vote for the first time in over 20 years. I have heard candidates for state office saying they helped us with our roads. What about dangerous Highway 95 (on hold until 2012). I hear local candidates claim they are going to help solve the property tax problem. They offer no real solution except they will work with others (that's how our problem got started).
Politics is pretty much Democrat or Republican. I do not see leaders or solutions coming from very many candidates. I will not vote against a candidate, I will only vote for someone who has my moral and political beliefs. This creates a dilemma for me.
After careful consideration, I have decided that my vote for many offices will be a write-in ("none of the above"). I wonder what would happen if others did the same and "none of the above" won.
