Robert Linfoot

Robert Linfoot was born in Portland, Ore., on May 14, 1950, and passed away on Oct. 29, 2006.

He graduated from James Madison High School in 1968. He married Debra in 1999 and moved to Oldtown, Idaho, in 2000.

Robert worked at the Portland Airport for 12 years as an assistant manager and then at the Sea-Tac Airport as the head of security before he retired in 1999.

He was a member of American Legion Post 147, Bonner County Amateur Radio Club and the Pend Oreille Amateur Radio Club.

Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1976. He was a Vietnam veteran and was 100 percent disabled.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debra; his sons, Eric, John and Josh; a daughter, Melissa; his father, Ross; his brothers, Stuart and David; a sister, Jenny; and 11 grandchildren.

His ashes will be taken to Portland, and military rites will be conducted.
