Long Bridge admirer wants to pitch in

In Tuesday's Bee, a fellow named Dick Vail suggested humorously that the Long Bridge needs more than a once-a-year cleaning.

Because the drive across the bridge coming into Sandpoint is so spectacular, would there be an interest in forming a group to "adopt" the Long Bridge for regular cleanup? What state, county, or city department is responsible for maintaining the bridge appearance? I would gladly work with that department for the beautification of the Bridge.
