Donald A. Retford, 75

Donald A. Retford, 75, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006.

Private burial services will be held in the Paradise Valley Cemetery.

Donald was born in Highland Park, Mich., on May 22, 1931. He attended high school in the Detroit area and later served with the U.S. Army.

In Michigan he worked in grocery stores and later was a route salesman for vending machine companies. In 1996, he retired, moving to Bonners Ferry and then to Sandpoint in 1998.

He is survived by two brothers, Douglas Retford of Simpsonville, S.C., and Kenneth Retford of Detroit, Mich.; and four cousins, including Earl Retfrod of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

His brother, Bob, preceded him in death.

Burial services are under the direction of Coffelt Funeral Service.
