Allen, Gustafson lead Cats in comeback win

MULLAN — The Kootenai Warriors, 52-27 winners over Lakeside, and Clark Fork will battle in the title game of the Mullan Tournament tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Clark Fork rallied from a 17-14 halftime deficit to knock off Mullan 43-27. Rayna Allen had 18 points on the game to help lead the comeback as the Cats scored 29 points in the second half. Freshman Shaina Gustafson added 13, and Bailey Hewitt and Megan Hess six each in the win.

Mullan junior Fawn Story had 23 rebounds to go along with a team-high 14 points.

Hannah Nyrop scored 21 points as Kootenai defeated Lakeside 52-27 in the top half of the bracket.
