PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:
1:30 P.M. - FILE SS1399-06 - PRELIMINARY PLAT - CREEK VIEW - ROBERT & XIANNA CARLSON AND BROWN FAMILY TRUST are seeking preliminary plat approval to subdivide a +/-20-acre parcel into two lots of 10.05 acres each located off of Creek Lane, a private easement leading from Race Track Road, a public right-of-way The site is zoned Agricultural and is located +/-10 miles north of Sandpoint, in Section 12, Township 58 North, Range 2 West, B.M.
1:45 P.M. - FILE VS1351-06 - CONRAD VISTA ROAD VACATION -MODIFICATION - BONNER COUNTY/ JAMES & PATRICIA SEBERO. The Board of Commissioners will consider a modification to the conditions of approval for the vacation of a portion of Conrad Vista Road, a public right-of-way serving Conrad Vista Shores anda Shell Shores subdivisions. The vacation of a 50-foot wide portion of the roadway was approved by the Board on September 27, 2006. Due to new information regarding the road status, the petitioners seek to modify conditions of approval #4 and #5 to reflect the road is a private easement not requiring improvements to Bonner County Title 2 standards. The subject road is located +/-8 miles east of the City of Priest River in Section 31, Township 56N, Range 3W.
Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.

COMMENT PERIOD
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has scheduled a 30-day period of availability wherein the public may request to review and submit comments on its draft certification of a federal permit regulating discharge of fill material into 5.53 acres of open water and wetlands adjacent to Sand Creek in a backwater area of Pend Oreille Lake. State certification of the Army Corps of Engineers 404 permit is required under Section 401 of the federal Clean Water Act to assure that the permit offers reasonable assurances that discharges do not violate state water quality standards.

NOTICE OF HEARING on Name Change
A Petition to change the name of Molly Kathleen Torrisi, born 12/1/76, in Rkfd., IL, residing at 575 Woodland Dr., Sandpoint, has been filed in Bonner County District Court, ID. The name will change to Molly Kathleen Fay, because she wishes to take her Great-Grandma's name. The petitioner's father has died and the names and addresses of his closest blood relatives are: Ed Torrisi, 4122 Florida Dr, Rkfd, IL 61108. The petitioner's mother is liiving and her address is 1111 21st St. Rkfd, IL. A hearing on the petition is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 6th, 2006, at the Bonner County Courthouse before the Honorable Barbara Buchanan. Objections may be filed by any person who can, in such objections, show to the Court a good reason against the name change.
