Wynhausen disconnected from Idaho
Mr. Wynhausen's sour grapes letter to the editor in the Daily Bee (Nov. 19) requires a response.
Mr. Wynhausen lost his bid to become a state representative to a stronger, better candidate, regardless of party affiliation. His successful opponent ran a clean, positive campaign on the issues, whereas Mr. Wynhausen ran his campaign against his opponent rather than on the issues. We in North Idaho do no appreciate negative campaigns. Disparaging or even mentioning your opposition is in poor taste and campaign strategy.
Mr. Wynhausen mentions Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah and wonders why those states appear to not conform to the polls of many of the other states. Do you suppose that these states are right and the others wrong? These are the constituents that he wanted to represent: Possibly he is "disconnected."
