Let your voices be heard regarding Hope annexation

Thank you, community of Hope, for letting your voices be heard regarding annexation of 60 acres above the cemetery. Your public comments at the City Council meetings on Sept. 13 and Sept. 21, 2006, spoke to legitimate concerns, as did your 103 signatures on the petition against annexation at this time.

The council will vote on this issue at a public meeting on Monday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Hope City Hall. Your continued input to the mayor and council prior to this meeting is strongly encouraged.
