STOP exploring options to end property tax mess

This is an announcement for the members of Sensible Taxation of Property and all other Bonner County taxpaying residents. On Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m., we are holding an open meeting to discuss and plan our next move to halt our out-of-control property taxes.

We will be proposing a solution to this problem that could permanently put this yearly trauma behind us. You will hear what we have learned from a nearby state that has taken legal action to protect their homes from a similar tax system gone berserk.

Their legal action provides a road map for us. In this nearby state, taxpayers suffered from overly vigorous assessments; misuse of state tax codes and in some cases vindictive assessments.

Please be at the Panida on Thursday at 7 p.m. For those clamoring for action and a possible class action lawsuit, you will not be disappointed.
