Legislators' salaries should

be at minimum wage level

Three cheers and hurray to Tom Greene for the research done on the cost of living for fair wage problem. The fat get fatter and we poorer folks are starved — partially because of the totally unfair tax on groceries, which takes a much larger percentage from minimum wage earners than from the more affluent. However, I do wish to propose a potential remedy to Sam Byrd and all who care about political justice, not correctness. We should draw up a legal petition to be signed by qualified voters to reduce the wages of all senators and representatives — to the existing minimum wage level that so many are saddled with. Seems fair — after all, they should be allowed the potential of being just as good of the rest of us.
