Christopher Allen Ginn, 30

Christopher Allen Ginn, 30, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at his home near Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private memorial services with full military honors will be held in Sandpoint at a later date.

Chris was born on June 18, 1976, in Torrence, Calif., the son of Thomas Wallace and Gaya Ginn. He grew up in California and graduated from Wheatland High School in 1995.

He joined the U.S. Army following high school and was stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., with the 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. His deployment included Egypt and Kwait, prior to becoming disabled.

He moved to Florida, and Bend, Ore., and settled in Sandpoint, Idaho, in 2006 with his family. His hobbies included working on and riding motorcycles and photography.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie Ginn of Sandpoint; two daughters, Christa Allen Ginn of Sandpoint and Kayla Culver of Sandpoint; two sons, Carson Arba Ginn of Sandpoint and Barry Culver of Sandpoint; two brothers, Michael Ginn of California and Shaun Hawkes of Marysville, Calif.; a sister, Monika Abelar of North Carolina; grandparents, Arba and Maxine Ginn of Sandpoint; and an aunt, Rebecca Ginn of Sandpoint.
