Henry Lee 'Hank' Norwood, 63

Henry Lee "Hank" Norwood, 63, passed away in Noxon, Mont., on Oct. 11, 2006.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, in the Clark Fork Baptist Church. Bill Jensen and Pastor Paul Abbott will officiate with burial following in the Heron Cemetery, Heron, Mont.

Calling hours will be in the Clark Fork Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until funeral time.

Hank was born in Newhall, Calif., on March 19, 1943. He attended schools in Riverside, Calif., joining the U.S. Navy in 1960 and serving until 1963.

He married Marcie L. Otis on Nov. 22, 1961 in Fresno, Calif. He worked as a roofer in Fresno.

He worked for Rainbow Bread, for 28 years, retiring as foreman of distribution, in 1997.

Following retirement he moved to Heron, Mont., and later to Noxon, Mont., where he was building his home.

He was a member of the Clark Fork Baptist Church, in Clark Fork, also serving as cdeacon.

He enjoyed building homes for his family and his friends, and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Marcie Norwood of Noxon, Mont.; two children, Tim Norwood of Fresno and Ted Norwood of Fresno; four grandchildren, T.J., Kassidy, Brooke and Brayden; and his mother, Lavada Morris of Oakhurst, Calif.

Preceding him in death was his father, Oscar; a brother, Warren; and a sister Verda.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
