Louise Mary Parquette, 87

Louise Mary Parquette, 87, passed away in her sleep on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint. Pastor Matt Lombard from the Seventh-day Adventist Church will be officiating.

Louise was born on July 3, 1919, to Ira and Harriet Philbrook in the family's large white farmhouse in Lakeside, Calif.

Louise and her husband of 69 years, Louis "Parky" Parquette, moving back to Sandpoint and the snow that she loved after they lost their home in the 2003 San Diego wildfires.

She is best remembered for her love of car trips to enjoy nature, driving to see the mountains and the ocean. She also enjoyed needlework, sewing, reading and growing Pansies and Petunia flowers along with all the vegetables she could grow in her garden space.

She will be greatly missed be her surviving family of a husband, a son, two daughters along with their spouses, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Services.
