Dale Henry Reasor, 69, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away Oct. 14, 2006, from a heart attack while elk hunting.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at North Country Chapel, 2281 W. Seltice Way, in Post Falls, Idaho. Public viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls.

He was born to Henry and Bertha Reasor on March 31, 1937, in San Francisco, Calif.

Dale was a North Idaho resident for the past 60-plus years. He graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1955.

He married Carole Stone in 1960. Dale worked for the NP and BN railroads for 33 years.

Dale was an avid outdoorsman and was always willing to share a story. He enjoyed camping on Pack River with his family and traveling to the coat with his wife, Carole.

Dale cherished his family and friends. He shared his love of the outdoors, rock collecting and dinosaurs with everyone. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and will be deeply missed.

Dale is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carole; his children, Tonnya Oaks, Tess Nehlich, David and Heidi Reasor, Trena and Greg Ziegler, and Daren and Erin Reasor; brothers, Gary and Alan; sisters, Carol Ann Eachon and Coree Cohen; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul; a granddaughter, Ruthie; and a son-in-law, Mark Nehlich.
