Cats have tough night at Wallace

| October 20, 2006 9:00 PM

SILVERTON — Ryan Miller had another big game for the Cats, but it wasn't enought as Wallace took a 57-26 lead early in the fourth quarter against Clark Fork on Friday at Sather Field.

Wallace opened the game with a 55-yard touchdown pass from Marcus Matile to Nathan Bartel, but Clark Fork would answer quickly as quarterback Mike Martin would hit Ryan Miller with a 62-yard touchdown . Miller then ran 62-yards for a score to put the Cats up 12-7.

Miner junior Tom Norris would put the Miners back up 14-12 on a seven yard rreception.

Miller would add two more touchdown runs, but it wasn't enough and the Miners scored four straight touchdowns.

Deadline prevented a full story.
