Let your voice be heard by voting in Nov. 7 election

| October 28, 2006 9:00 PM

While the Government Affairs Committee of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce does not endorse or support any one individual candidate, it does support the democratic voting process and strongly encourages its members and the residents of Bonner County to vote Nov. 7.

Based upon membership input, several issues facing the county and the state such as continued property tax relief, transportation, education, infrastructure, protection and enjoyment of our natural resources, affordable housing, growth management, and good jobs and wages, have significant and long lasting impact on area businesses and individuals.

Let your voice and your vision for Bonner County be heard Nov. 7. We strongly encourage you to get to know the candidates, be familiar with their positions on these issues, and understand the issues on the ballot before you vote.
