McNeal is Miss Teen Idaho

Krista McNeal, a 17-year-old senior at Sandpoint High School, was named Miss Idaho Teen USA 2007 at the pageant in Nampa on Saturday.

McNeal will be competing at the 2007 Miss Teen USA(R) Pageant televised live on NBC next August.

First runner-up is Megan Shannahan, a 14-year-old freshman at Centennial High School in Boise.

Rounding out the Top 15 in the teen division in alphabetical order are: Jamie Anderson, Coeur d'Alene; Alyssa Baldwin, Salmon; Kaitlin Charles, Boise; Jordan Francis, Eagle; Valliann Hess, Rupert; Veronica Hollingshead, Boise; Samantha Kerfoot, Kuna; Justine Knudson, Fruitland; Charnele Martin, Blackfoot; and Betsy Tuel, Nampa.

Krista McNeal was also awarded Miss Congeniality. Kaitlin Charles was awarded Miss Photogenic. The award for People's Choice went to Rebecca Davis of Eagle.
