I have been asked about Proposition 1, the ballot measure that would increase funding for Idaho's public schools. While the Lake Pend Oreille School Board, of which I am a member, has not taken a position on Prop. 1, I can share with you what it would mean to the district if it should pass.
LPOSD would receive additional revenue of approximately $2.1 million if the measure is passed and fully implemented by the Legislature.
As a community member who has long advocated for quality public schools and the funding necessary to achieve quality, I support Prop. 1.
Please vote yes.
