Trash needs to be picked up along highway, Long Bridge

Have you driven south out of town over the Long Bridge in the past month? If you have, surely you have noticed how much trash, including articles of clothing, plastic containers and pieces of wood, gravel and dirt stretches along its length. Not to mention the dead skunk that lay rotting at the south end for two weeks — which has blessedly dried up and stopped smelling, finally!

The gateway to our community should be an asset, not an eyesore.
