Mildred H. Pittelko, 91

Mildred H. Pittelko, 91, a longtime Bonner County resident, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mildred was born Nov. 9, 1914, in Wyckoff, Minn., to Fred and Lydia Halweg.

She married Carl J. Pittelko in 1933 in Iowa.

During World War II the family moved to the West Coast and worked in the ship yards.

In 1969, they moved to Bonner County. Mildred worked and raised the children, later she enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by her son, Paul Pittelko of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Mark Pittelko of Graham, Wash., and Joie Klinger of Bonney Lake, Wash.; and five great-grandchildren, Lacey Lindgren of Naples, Idaho, Thomas James Sessums, now stationed in Iraq, and McKenzie, Kyle, and Jordyn Lea Klinger of Bonney Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl J. Pittelko; and a grandson, Timothy Pittelko.
