William G. 'Bill' Hummitsh

William G. "Bill" Hummitsh passed away Sept. 19, 2006, in Spokane, Wash.

Bill was born on Nov. 1, 1935, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962.

He lived and worked as a logger in and around the Clark Fork, Idaho, area.

Bill was a member of the Clark Fork Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his long-time companion Ellen Pringle; stepchildren Dennis and Gayle Pringle; Kristine Bustos, guardian angel Lynn Pringle (and his "Punkinhead,") his sister and brother-in-law Louise and Jay Raftery, nieces Teresa Malley and Nancy Hofmeister, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill had a special place in his heart for cousins Georgia Gunderson, Pat Derr, Lucille Naccarato, Marie Ruen and Addie Mae Rounsville.

Bill will be remembered for his sense of humor and Irish wit.

No service will be held at his request.
