PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with IDAPA 58.01.06.032.03.b, Stimson Lumber Company is issuing this public notice in regards to its permit application to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to site Tier II Non-Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. The landfill will accept wood waste and boiler ash from Stimson Lumber Company operations in the general area. The proposed landfill is located on Hoop Loop Road in the SE 1\4 of the NE 1\4 of Section 34, Township 56N, Range 5W of Bonner County. The Application to site the landfill has been completed and submitted to the DEQ. The general public has 30 days to make comment before the permit is issued. At the conclusion of the public comment period, DEQ will consider the comments and issue a decision regarding the approval of the permit application.
