Edward H. and Thelma Faye Nettleton
Edward H. Nettleton, 97, of Biloxi, Miss., died in the loving arms of family on Monday, March 5, 2007, in Gautier, Miss.
A funeral service for Edward and his wife, Thelma Faye Nettleton, who passed away at the age of 88 in Biloxi on Dec. 5, 2001, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
A memorial service for Edward was held Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the Riemann family's Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Three Rivers Road Chapel, in Gulfport.
Edward was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene and resided with his beautiful wife of 70 years, Thelma, in Sandpoint, Idaho, and Prescott Valley, Ariz. They were of the Presbyterian faith.
Thelma was a native of O'Neill, Neb.
Edward and Thelma were married on April 11, 1931. Wednesday would have been the couple's 77th anniversary. They had moved to Biloxi in 1998 to be near family due to their age.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Faye Nettleton; his parents, John Charles and Mary Nettleton; a son, John Charles Nettleton; a grandson, Douglas Pete Boling; and two brothers and three sisters.
Thelma was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Calkins; her mother, Bessie Morgan Calkins; a son, John Charles Nettleton; and a grandson, Douglas Pete Boling.
Survivors include their daughters, Joyce Melancon Bacile of Biloxi, and Judy M. Bolling of Puyallup, Wash.; daughter-in-law, Vicki Nettleton of Mentone, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Darlene M. Williams of Coeur d'Alene and Deanna Larkin of Post Falls.
