Lloyd Melvin 'Boxcar' Campbell, 65

Lloyd Melvin "Boxcar" Campbell, 65, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2007, in Spokane, Wash.

Memorial services will be held at on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Wigton officiating. Military honors provided by bonner county veterans.

Lloyd was born Sept. 29, 1941, to Erwin A and Martha R. (Floch) Campbell in Bonner County and was born and raised in Garfield Bay, Idaho. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1960 and after high school; he enlisted in the Navy where he served four years. Following his military service, Lloyd moved to Washington and began work as a machinist. He moved back to Idaho where he purchased the Sandpoint Laundromat.

In 1980, Lloyd married the love of his life, Joyce L. (Hoffine) Webb and they moved to Sagle, Idaho. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was a very talented craftsman and truly loved the beauty of this area and spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors and all it had to offer.

Lloyd is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce Campbell of Sagle; sons, James D. (Valerie Marie) Webb of Sagle and Daniel Campbell of Selah, Wash.; daughters, Valerie K. Webb (Bob) Carstensen of Boise, Idaho; Vicki L. Webb of Coeur d'Alene, and Holly Campbell of Selah; brothers, Norman (Ginger) Campbell of Garfield Bay and Robert (Betty) Campbell of Post Falls; a sister, Florence White of Oregon; close friend, Phil (Stacey) Swan of Twin Falls, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Alice Patrick and Bonnie Webb.
