Robert Lee Barnes, 54

Robert Lee Barnes, 54, passed away on April 12, 2007.

Robert was born on Sept. 11, 1952, in San Diego, Calif.

He lived in various places before settling in Sandpoint in 1980.

He married Carla Ridley on Sept. 13, 1980. After 23 years of marriage, they divorced in 2004.

He is survived by two children, Josh and Katie Barnes, both of Sandpoint; grandson Camryn Dixson of Sandpoint; and ex-mother-in-law Irma Ridley of Sandpoint. He also is survived by brothers Peter and Dennis of Issaquah, Wash., Jerry McNair of Orlando, Florida, and sister Ruth Ann of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; plus loving care provider Marge Hanon of Issaquah.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Blaine, and his mother, Diane McNair.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at a later time in Issaquah.
