| April 13, 2007 9:00 PM

Ruth Caufield, 51, went to be with the Lord after a car crash near Lewiston claimed her life.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Hills Church, 4100 McGhee Rd., Suite 1, Kootenai, Idaho, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17.

Ruth was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Richard and Naoma Moravetz on July 25, 1955. Her family moved to Boise, Idaho, when she was 12 years old. She met Tim Caufield a couple of years later; they were married on Aug. 23, 1973.

The two moved to their property near Priest River, Idaho, in April 1978, where they raised their two children and still reside.

Ruth was a devout Christian woman and one of the great loves of her life was children, babysitting and teaching children's church were a joy and inspiration to her. She also enjoyed camping, hiking and four-wheeler riding with her family and friends.

Over the years, Ruth worked as a waitress in just about every restaurant in town. She spent six years working for Coldwater Creek in both the warehouse and retail store where she earned several awards for employee of the month and year. She was currently working as a receptionist at First American Title, where she enjoyed both her job and the people she worked with.

She is survived by her mother, Naoma Blake Moravetz of Boise and her father Richard (Nina Louise) Moravetz of Meridian, Idaho; mother-in-law Marilyn Caufield, of Boise; her husband Tim Caufield of Priest River; her daughter Karen Caufield and fiance Scott Laramie of Coeur d'Alene; her son David Caufield and Nadine Lundy of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; her granddaughter, Madison Mogen; three sisters, Carol Sommer of Boise, Marilyn (Carl) Nelson of Emmett, Idaho, and Susan (Todd) Janssen of Sandpoint; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to count.

An account has been established in her name at Mountain West Bank to benefit Ruth's family.
