HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the following time on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request:

1:30 P.M. - FILE VS1455-07 - PETITION TO VACATE (ABANDON) PORTIONS OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY - POLES INCORPORATED is seeking to vacate (abandon) portions of public right-of-way, located south and east of the incorporated city limits of Oldtown and adjoining the Poles Inc. properties in Section 24, Township 56 North, Range 6 West, B.M. The public right-of-way proposed for vacation is described as that portion of First Street lying between the southerly extension of the west line of Block 21 and the southerly extension of the east line of Block 22 of the plat of Newport addition to Oldtown, and that portion of Nevada Avenue lying between Block 21 and 22 of said plat. The rights-of-way have never been constructed with roadways and the applicant desires to consolidate the vacated right-of-way with its adjacent land.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearing to verify if this item will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
