ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City of Kootenai is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms for assistance in engineering design for road rehabilitation and widening of McGhee Road. The City anticipates in applying for state and/or federal funds to complete the project.

Professional services required are likely to include, but not limited to participation in public meetings, surveying, schematic design and cost estimation for grant applications, final design with costs, construction documents and project oversight.

The proposal must include:

Firm History and Capability to Perform the Project (R)C 15 points

Relevant Project Experience (R)C 25 points

Qualifications of Project Team (R)C 25 points

Project Approach and Schedule (R)C 25 points

Selection Committee Interview (R)C 10 points

Proposals will be ranked on qualifications and the City may choose to interview several of the top ranked firms. However, at its discretion, the City may dispense with interviews and select a firm to perform the work.

Five copies of the proposal must be received by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Kootenai City Hall, 204 Spokane Street.
