Marlene R. Taylor, 70, passed away on Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, in Sagle, Idaho.
A celebration of Marlene's life will be held on Aug. 18 at the family residence, 148 Merrill Martin Rd, Sagle.
Marlene was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Aug. 21, 1936, the daughter of Henry and Ella Hansen and attended Bonner County Schools. She lived in Spokane, Wash., and Anchorage and Kenai, Alaska; returning to the Sagle area in 1987.
On Oct. 5, 1978, she married Edwin Taylor in Sagle.
She worked, as a waitress, at the Longhorn, the Edgewater, and Harold's IGA retiring in 1995, for health reasons.
She enjoyed sewing, her flower garden, collecting dolls and angels, her family and friends.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Ed Taylor of Sagle; nine children, Dale M. Reynolds of Shelton, Wash., James M. Reynolds of Tacoma, Wash., Shellie R. Reynolds of Tacoma, Wash., John S. Carter of Sandpoint, Sally Anne Barbee of Indiana, Anita L. Miller of Virginia, Tricia M. Taylor of Post Falls, Idaho, Edwin M. Taylor of Sandpoint, and Tina Garcia of Post Falls; two brothers, Melvin Hansen of Kootenai, Idaho, and Richard Hansen of Ponderay, Idaho; and four sisters, Beverly Fickle of Ponderay, Ella Mae Coop of Ponderay, Emma Lou Craig of Pineville, Idaho, and Linda LaFore of Sandpoint. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
