Carol Marie (Breckenridge) Bee, 46
Carol Marie (Breckenridge) Bee, 46, passed away in July in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park with Father Carlos Perez officiating.
Carol was born in Pasadena, Calif., on Jan. 13, 1961, the daughter of William and Marian Breckenridge. She graduated from high school in Pasadena, moving to the Sandpoint area in the early 1980s. She worked locally as a waitress prior to moving to Gresham, Ore., and selling real estate.
In 2005 she returned to Sandpoint and opened her own store, Gorilla Beads. She was an excellent jewelry maker and was also a supply source for other people making jewelry. She also created and sold authentic native drums.
She enjoyed riding and working on Harley Davidson motorcycles. She was fluent in Spanish, traveling in South America and led tours there. She enjoyed the Latin culture, its people, and made friends wherever she went, often traveling with a backpack and living with the native population. She also traveled in Asia.
Carol was a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church. She loved her sons Jacob and Joshua, was scared of bees, enjoyed her flower garden, and had a "goofy" laugh.
She is survived by grandson Dillon Fisher Breckenridge of Tahoe, Calif.; mother Marian Breckenridge of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; two brothers, James Breckenridge of Pasadena and John (and Kandy) Breckenridge of Sandpoint; sister Laurel (and Gene) Eby of Pasadena; aunt Beverly Royer of Burleson, Texas; five nieces and three nephews; numerous cousins; and many, many friends, all over the world.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jacob and Joshua; her dad, Bill; her grandma, Winnie; and her uncle, Leo.
Family and friends are invited to sign Carol's online guest book and read her obituary at www.coffeltfuneral.com.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
